What is it used for?

What is DWF format:
DWF is an engineering format by Autodesk. Plans can be saved or converted to this format from any CAD application.

If you are using Autodesk applications you can save a file as DWF by plotting it.
If not, you can download DWF Writer and install it as a virtual printer. Print to it from any supported CAD applications, or use it to convert from PDF to DWF format.

Why use DWF format:
For engineering plans DWF format is great. The DWF files are small, however they can be displayed in large dimensions without loosing resolution. DWF supports both 2D and 3D files.

What plan size is best to set in VizCollab:
The default size should enable seeing all details clearly.

What about large size plans:
VizCollab supports large sized plans, larger than the screen size, keeping navigation easy as on small sized plans.
